Weese's stat was like: "23,000 dolphins are being killed right now in Japan. Right now."
Seeing this, I was like, "No waaaay D-:" And I decided to talk to Weese XD

Louise Sunico: They capture them, and then they're sold for $150,000 dollars each for dolphin shows all over the world (EVERYONE goes there to buy their dolphins for shows). Of the 50-ish that are captured each day, only one or two get sold. The rest are slaughtered and their meat is sold in the marketplace D-:

Louise Sunico: And in dolphin shows, all the dolphins look happy, but really, they're very stressed. They have to drug the dolphins because they get ulcers because of how stressed they are.
